New Music: Bipolar Sunshine

Adio Marchant, or Bipolar Sunshine is currently sitting in top of two quality EPs, a spot on the Rudimental track Distance, and a summer of festival success. Having gained notoriety and a following his feature on 24 Hours, the Mancunion has since released his second EP Drowning Butterflies, a mish-mash of funk, R&B and indie rock held together by dark, ambient electro beats. The juxtaposition between sad lyrics and upbeat melodies mean we were continuously shifting better the funky and the soulful, therefore it is hard to pinpoint exactly where Bipolar Sunshine lies on the genre spectrum, making it a pleasure to listen to.
