The stunning Tahliah Barnett, better known as dream pop/experimental R&B artist FKA Twigs has shared two new videos today in partnership with Dazed. The first of which is titled tw Ache, is a sensual, ambient remix of last years Ache, one of Twigs’ first ever tracks. The video itself is directed by Tom Beard and shot in Brick Lane’s Second Home space, the concept is minimal with a heavy focus on movement and body, it’s eerie and surreal throughout, which is due to the direction, shot in a way which wholly complements the hauntingly hypnotic and entirely immersive soundscapes.

The second video released today was both directed and written by Twigs and features London’s own krump crew. Despite the picturesque surroundings of Shoreditch Town Hall, Wet Wipez is completely creepy in all the right ways. The track itself is grimy and bass-y, complete with unintelligible lyrics and off-the-wall experimental arrangements. It’s completely obscure, and is a reflection of FKA Twigs’ talent as more than just a musician, but as an artist who can execute daring and provocative ideas on her own terms.
